We were planning on taking Paige with us the whole time, but the day before we left Grandma Julie called and wanted to make sure I wanted to take Paige and not leave her home with them. I thought about it all day and at the last minute decide to leave her. So the night before we left I meet my sister Melissa in Layton and dropped Paige off to her. She then took her to Brigham where my mom and dad picked her up and took her back to Malad with them. It ended up being a good thing we left her because she was sick the whole time we were gone. Thanks goodness for a wonderful Grandma who was willing to take such great care of her.
Wednesday we got to California around 12:30 p.m. and headed to our hotel. We got settled in and then headed to Disneyland for 1/2 the day. The kids loved the Winnie the Pooh ride. Colton was brave enough to go on Splash Mountain with his Dad, but did not want to go on it again. We then went to the Haunted Mansion and then was able to meet us with Ryan and Kellie.
We were able to meet some of the Princesses and Fairies that day and the Maddie loved it. I had made them autograph books before we went and they were very excited to see how much of it they could get filled. It was a lot of fun.
