Quick Update!!

Its been a while since our last post, so I will try to get us up to date, however not much as happened.

Maddie started her second year of Preschool and is loving it. She also started her second year of dance and is also enjoying that. She is one busy girl. She has Preschool, Dance, two Speech classes, and Kindermusik, but she loves it all. Colton has also started Kindermusik this year and is really enjoying it. He also is loving that he gets a lot of alone time with Mom, because Maddie is gone all the time.


We decided to get a season pass to Lagoon because the kids love going there. So last weekend we took the kids to Lagoon and they had a lot of fun. They loved the swings. Here are some pictures of Lagoon.

Ben in San Francisco

I know what you thinking but Ben went to San Francisco strictly for business. Ben had to go to a Trade Show in San Francisco and left the rest of us in Malad. He spent most of the time in the show but was able to get out and have a little fun.


Ben was able to go to a Giants game. He had a lot of fun at the game. They were honoring the 30 greatest outfielder for the Giants. He didnt recognize any of the players except for Barry Bonds and Willy Mays. The Giants were playing the Dodgers and the giants one in the 10th.


Ben also went to Fisherman's Warf which is right on the Ocean. One of the pictures shows Alcatraz in the background.

Lagoon in August

This year we decided to get a season pass to Lagoon because we go there enough. Here are some pictures of the kids playing at Lagoon. They love to ride the different rides there.

July 4th in Malad

We are going to backtrack a little bit, because I am a bad Mom and forgot to take my camera with me to the Parade. So my on the ball sister just sent me over the pictures she took, We spent the 4th of July in Malad. The kids had a lot of fun at the parade and the carnival. The 4th starts early in Malad. We watched the parade for about an hour and the kids got tons of candy. After that the kids have a race at the park. They are put into different groups based on age and sex then have to run a short distance. They love it because they get ice cream when the complete the race.

For the adults; the Malad Cheerleaders put on a dodge ball tournament. Because we have a niece who is a cheerleader we are usually roped into doing it each year. This year there was a Willie team that consisted of Kirk, Tom, Ben, Mike, and one of Kirk's friends. Their first opponent were women so they had to take it a little easy. They won pretty easily and had to play another group after that which they lost to. It was alot of fun watching them. Later that night we go to the fireworks.
That gets over around 10:30 and then we head to my Grandma and Grandpa Parry's house and put off a firework show of our own. We are usually at Grandma and Grandpa's house until midnight. Its a full day of fun in Malad.

Kole riding Motorcycle

My nephew Kole who just turned 4 this week loves to ride the motorcycles and four-wheelers. My brother-in-law Branden has a little motorcycle and so they decided to teach Kole how to ride it. He did really well he just forgets to let go of the throttle. He was so funny to watch!!!

Colton got Hurt!!

On Saturday our last day of Vacation we were packing up and getting ready to go home. I took Maddie and Colton into my Mom and Dad's trailer to bath them and Colton decided to climb on the stairs that went up to their bed. Well he fell off and cut his chin open. I didn't think anything had happened to him so I started to walk out of the trailer to go and find Ben when I noticed that he was bleeding. We looked at it and figured we were going to have to take him to go get stitches, but the closest hospital was in Rexburg at least an hour away. Luckily my RN brother-in-law was there and he took a look at him and decided that he could just clean it out real well and super glue it. Colton cried but was really good while they were fixing him up.

Island Park

We had a lot of fun in Island Park. Bill and Colleen went with us this year and it was great to have them. We went waterskiing, rode the waverunners, ran the river and played on the four wheelers. Ben went golfing with his parents one day and they had a lot of fun. We went to West Yellowstone one day and that was a complete nightmare. My kids have cured me of ever wanting to go to West again until they are a lot older. Colton did got sick while we were there, but luckily it only lasted about 24 hours. The kids loved to sleep in the trailer and would sleep in until about 8:30 - 9:00 which they never do at home. Maddie wanted to roast marshmallow every night, however she wouldn't eat them, so we wasted a lot of marshmallows.
